Sen Yu Sen Sen
Guan Na, China 2004, 30 minutes
One winter day, a young boy living in the country encounters a forest
spirit.
Guan Na (born 1980) is a student of the Literature Department of
Beijing Film Academy. She is now working as Assistant Director for
Jia Zhangke's latest documentary, now shooting in Sichuan province.

Hot Pot
Du Peng, China 2004, 22 minutes
Every evening, carrying his guitar and a small loudspeaker, Lao
Bian roams from restaurant to restaurant, singing songs for a living.
One day he happens to be in a hotpot restaurant where some gangsters
are making trouble for a hooker and her boyfriend.
Du Peng (born 1973) and is currently a director in the Youth Film
Studio at Beijing Film Academy. This short film won Jury's Award
at 3rd Annual University Student Film and TV Festival in the Greater
China Region
Lao Bian, seorang pengamen, menjelajah kota dan bernyanyi setiap
malam untuk mencari penghasilannya. Suatu hari, ia masuk ke restoran
baru di mana sekelompok perusuh sedang membuat keributan.

Time of Youth
Robin Weng, China 2004, 14 minutes
A young man leaves his small fishing town to try his luck in the
big city of Fuzhou. Feeling lonely, he spends his time with video
games and hires a prostitute. Later, he finds out that his girlfriend
will marry someone else.
Robin Weng's earlier short, Jasmine Bay, won the Asian New Force
Critic Award at Hong Kong Independent Film & Video Awards in
2003. He is now shooting a feature film.
Seorang pemuda merantau ke kota untuk mencari peruntungan. Merasa
kesepian, ia menghabiskan waktunya main perempuan. Suatu ketika
ia mendengar bahwa kekasihnya akan menikah dengan orang lain.
